Interact Charter Filed for Stoneham Club

The charter has been sent to Rotary International establishing an Interact Club at Stoneham High School. There are 34 charter members and the club has already met three times, elected their leadership team, two additional board members and five committee chairs. At the most recent meeting they discussed their thoughts about the first service project that they hope to plan and complete before the end of this school year. In line with DGE David Manzi's new Homelessness and Hunger Initiative, they are considering collecting food or organizing an End Hunger New England program. Either way, they are very excited to deliver service locally and begin to plan their inaugural celebration.

This has been a multi-year effort led by the club and it just goes to show that perseverance does pay off and often multiplies.
