Holiday Sing-Along/Stoneham Rotary Club 12-17-2013 Meeting

The Stoneham Middle School Chorale entertains the Rotary Club of Stoneham with some holiday favorites.

"Baby, It's Cold Outside!"

Carolyn Lassiter, Stoneham Rotary Club President, presents the Stoneham Middle School Chorale with a donation check to support the group.

President Carolyn Lassiter thanked the staff of Bear Hill Golf Club for their help and kindness throughout the year, and presented them with a token of our appreciation.

President Carolyn Lassiter called the meeting to order at 12:15pm.
   
All present were entertained by the Stoneham High School Chorale Group.  We presented the group with a $500 donation to help offset their travel and educational expenses.

Carolyn presented Michelle and Alice with our annual gift and our thanks for another year of service to our Rotary club.
 
Carolyn thanked Su Mansur and the entire Christmas Party committee for their hard work in the planning and execution of the Christmas Party.

Carolyn relayed a message from Su Mansur that our grant request for the Stoneham Sr. Center has been approved.

Carolyn received a message from Tracey Arsena.  Her husband is having some serious medical issues and her absence will continue.  For those of you who would like to send Tracey a note/card her address is:

Bruce shared that today’s fines are being donated to the Stoneham Food Pantry.  Carol Dresser reminded us that we can bring food donations weekly to the meeting and she will deliver them.  Food is needed year round, not just at the holiday times.

Amy updated us on the “Pizza” committee.  Dennis, Gerry, and Amy meet.  The event is renamed the Pizza Showcase.  They are still planning on holding the event on Saturday January 25th at Stoneham High School from 2-5 pm.  Letters to the local pizza shops have been mailed out.

All January meeting will be held offsite.  An email will be sent to everyone once locations have been finalized.
