The Rotary Club of Stoneham is taking its show on the road in January.  We will not be meeting at Bear Hill until February.  Following is a schedule of our meeting locations for January.

Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, 15 Dale Court
 
The Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham exists to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.  The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, hope and opportunity.
 
Our speaker is Dr. George Michael of the Boston Red Sox.  There will be a short board meeting at the conclusion of the membership meeting to review a new member proposal form.  Board members are asked to stay for the short meeting; all members are welcome to stay.

Our speaker for the January 7 meeting was David Gardner, who talked about Polio Plus and the upcoming Polar Plunge.  The board met at the conclusion of the membership meeting.

Stoneham Senior Center, 136 Elm Street
 
Our speaker for today is Fran Cioffi, Outreach Worker for the Stoneham Senior Center.  She will give a brief overview of Senior Center services and update us on her work with Stoneham senior citizens, providing support and referral services.
 
Located at 136 Elm Street, the Stoneham Senior Center is the Town’s second Almshouse, built in 1852 in the Greek Revival style. The building was renovated in 1998 and has been proudly listed on the National Register of Historical Places since 1984.

The Council on Aging provides services of nutrition, health, recreation, transportation, informational and referral programs for seniors residing in Stoneham through the Senior Center.

Stoneham Community Access is a non-profit membership-based organization that provides a TV forum for the free exchange of information and ideas which reflect the talents, skills, interests, concerns and diversity of the Stoneham community.

Stoneham residents, employees of Stoneham businesses, and members of Stoneham organizations are welcome to join Stoneham TV.  Members who have a special event or an idea for a TV show that they would like to share with the community can learn how to use Stoneham TV’s studio, portable cameras, and editing equipment to make their programs shine!  Stoneham TV is dedicated to telling our community that they have a voice, and helping them share it!
