Stoneham’s Town Day was created to celebrate our community and highlight the many businesses, recreational programs, artists, cultural groups, and nonprofits that make our town special. Each year, our Club proudly continues its tradition of selling ice cream sundaes to support the service projects we run throughout the year, including our annual scholarship for a graduating Stoneham High School senior.
We’re always looking for volunteers to help make the day a success. If you’ve got a strong arm, a great smile, and enjoy meeting people, you’re exactly who we need. Setup begins at 8:30 a.m., the event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and cleanup takes about an hour afterward. Join us for the full day, stop by for a shift, or simply swing by and enjoy a sundae.
Town Day is a wonderful opportunity for Club members and community volunteers to come together, pitch in, and help create a fun and memorable event for everyone.
Rotary Club of Stoneham presents a scholarship each June to a graduating Stoneham High School Senior. We fund that scholarship through a variety of fundraisers, including an annual 50/50 Golf Ball drop, which this year netted the winner and our Club $1100 each. Thanks to all who donated!!
